Ukrainian singer Tonya Matvienko in a new interview for “briefly pro” admitted how her life changed more than a year after the death of her mother, the legendary artist Nina Matvienko.
“I have two places. This is her room at home. I perceive everything as if she is at home with me. Perhaps if there were no room, I would often go to the cemetery. I go to some dates in the cemetery. For example, there was Nina's Day, Angel Day, January 27, and I stopped to my mother. I'm not afraid to go there. It's just hard to look at the sign when she was born and left, this is a reminder that she is not. And it knocks me a lot. Therefore, I have her room where her things hang, it smells of her, it helps me.
I don't want to disassemble my mother’s things, I'm not ready yet, ”Tonya shared.
The singer noted that her older brothers are both artists, so they decided to independently make a sketch for the monument. According to Matvienko, work will end by autumn.
“We already have a sketch, it was drawn by my older brother. My brothers are artists. I think it will already be ready by the fall, ”Tonya declassified.
