Ukrainian film week starts in Prague

On November 14, a week of Ukrainian cinema kicked off in Prague, which was opened by Roman Bondarchuk’s “Vulkan”.

The program will feature films such as The Brahma by Vladimir Tikhiy, Donbass by Sergey Loznitsa, “The Hero of My Time” by Tony Noyabreva, “When Trees Are Falling” by Marysi Nikityuk, the documentary “Malevich, Ukrainian Square” by Dmitry Julaya and the short film “Night with Natalko "Andrei Bondarenko, as well as Asthenic Syndrome" Kira Muratova (1989, was banned in the USSR, while receiving the award of the Special Jury in Berlin).

The week will last until November 20, the shows will be held in three metropolitan cinemas. All films are shown in the original version with Czech subtitles..
