Director Alexander Pavlovsky died at the age of 71, according to the website of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.

Since 1971 Pavlovsky was the director of the Odessa film studio, in 1993-1999 - the artistic director of the film studio "Arcadia", the main director of the municipal television channel of Odessa.

In 1997-1999 - Chief Director of the Odessa show carnival "Yumorina". Since 2000 he worked and lived in Moscow.
