In Stockholm, the Nobel Week continues, within the framework of which awards will be awarded for outstanding scientific achievements, revolutionary inventions or a major contribution to the culture or development of society.

Today, on October 5, the name of the Nobel Prize in Literature.

The award this year was awarded to the British writer Kazuro Ishiguro, who "in the novels of great emotional power revealed the abyss under our illusory sense of connection with the world".

Ishiguro is known for the novels "The Rest of the Day", "Do not Let Me Go" and "The Buried Giant".

He was also awarded the "Whitbread" prize for his second novel "The Shaky World Artist" and the Booker Prize for "The Rest of the Day". In addition, "When we were orphans" and "Do not let go of me" were nominated for the Booker Prize.
