UAVs massively attacked the Russian city of Cheboksary, where the VNDIR-Progres enterprise, working for the Russian Armed Forces, is located. This was stated by the Governor of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation Oleg Nikolaev  on Telegram.

The official assured that there were supposedly no casualties or destruction of capital structures, but added that “emergency and operational services are working on the ground”.

Later, Nikolaev announced a repeated attack on Cheboksary, but called on residents “not to panic”.

The Astra Telegram channel, citing local residents, wrote about explosions in the city and published photos of smoke.

According to local residents, there was another hit at the defense enterprise VNDIR-Progress.

VNDIR-Progress is part of the ABS Electro production association.

Earlier it was reported that he produces Comet antennas for the Russian army, which protect the drones of the Russian Armed Forces from Ukrainian electronic warfare systems.
