Now in long-distance trains it is allowed to transport pets without escorting owners. Since July 16, the service has earned in pilot mode 13 routes. This is reported by the Federal Passenger Company (FPK).

FPK paid service - the minimum price is 730 rubles. It is allowed to transport dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits and turtles. Throughout the trip, animals should be in cages or containers (each weighing up to 75 kg), there you can put their favorite toy, drinker, accompanying documents. During the journey for animals the conductors of passenger cars will follow.
