International IT-platform launches service for patients with diabetes mellitus

Telemedicine company Qapsula, operating in the US and Russia, launches new service support for patients with diabetes mellitus. At the moment, on Qapsula platform you can ask questions and get recommendations from more than 3000 specialists from different regions of our country.

In Russia to date, diabetes is confirmed in 4.3 million people. However, according to the Institute of Diabetes FGBU "National Medical Research Center of Endocrinology" of the Ministry of Health of Russia, there are almost twice as many - 8 million people. And the number of people who are diagnosed with this disease is steadily growing. Today, in the risk zone, about 30 million, that is, almost 20% of the population. Our country is in the top five in terms of the number of diabetics.

Users of Akku-Chek products with the logo of the interactive system will be able to receive a free-of-charge extended consultation 24 hours a specialist in chat, audio or video communication.

Accu-Chek and Qapsula strategies are aimed at developing personalized medicine, as well as increasing the interest and participation of the patient in treatment, which was the prerequisite for the creation in Russia of a new complex product for patients with diabetes mellitus. Such solutions have proved their effectiveness in Europe and the US, and some of them have already been registered by the FDA.
