The statistics of search requests in Yandex for January of this year allowed to determine the leaders by the number of searches for tours in the context of foreign countries. So, according to the presented data, most often Internet users were interested in Turkey, Thailand and Egypt, whose share was 13.9%, 10.9% and 10.7% of all requests made. Next, the top ten leaders in descending order included Vietnam, India in the person of the Goa, Italy, Greece, China, the United Arab Emirates and Cuba. Earlier in the TOP-10, the Dominican Republic and Finland left the ranks of countries most in demand among Russians. Relative to January 2017, the highest growth in indicators was recorded in Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Cuba, Belarus, Cambodia and Armenia, so, for Turkey the growth here was 214.5%, and for Egypt - 188%.

In total for the first month of the current year, Russians made 7,475,272 requests for search of tours, which was 23.3% more than in the same period last year. At the same time burning tours from Moscow and the regions interested citizens by 64.2% more often than a year ago. For 39.5% of users, mobile devices became helpers in the work with the Internet in the sphere of tourism. Regarding December 2017, the number of all travel requests increased by 45.7%, while for last-minute trips this dynamics was 35.3%.

Regarding the beginning of last year, Russians have become 21.7% more likely to take an interest in premium vacation in such corners of the planet as Maldives, Seychelles, Morocco, Bali, Cuba, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Dominican Republic. In the countries of the eurozone, 6.3% more consumers looked for 6.3% more, and the number of requests for East Asia increased by 33.7% compared to January 2017, for the countries of the Near and Middle East, the increase was 142% mainly due to Egypt and the UAE.
