The Government of the Russian Federation has forbidden gardeners to burn grass and allow overgrowing of plots with weeds

The Government of the Russian Federation has complicated the life of gardeners by adopting changes in the rules of the fire regime. The relevant resolution is published on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers. In particular, now owners of land plots are obliged to clean up garbage and mow the grass in a timely manner. In addition, the updated rules prohibit burning grass and planting fires near roads and railways. Also, the rightholders of agricultural land are now obliged to take measures to protect the land from overgrown with weeds, timely mowing hay in hayfields.

The requirements apply to the owners of land plots located within the boundaries of populated areas, horticultural, horticultural and dacha non-profit associations of citizens.
