Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the UN after meeting with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, said that Russia suspects the US of violating at least three points of the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles (ASMM), Izvestia writes,.

Lavrov said: "We have suspicions of at least three positions in the fact that the Americans are creating combat systems that violate or may violate the obligations taken under the treaty. We honestly raised these concerns ".

The Minister noted that Russia is interested in keeping this treaty without any violations.

He added: "The Americans also make claims to us, but they can not specifically justify what alarmed them. In any case, the conversation must be conducted ".

Lavrov also commented on the US Senate's amendment to the US defense budget, which allows us to withdraw from a single article of the DRMDD.

The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry concluded: "This is stipulated by any agreement, including the DRMS ??... The position of the congress remains the position of the congress".
