The poll of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM) says that the majority of Russians believe that the responsibility for aggravating the conflict on the Korean peninsula lies with the United States, the Izvestia newspaper writes..

From the survey results it follows that 87% of Russians have heard about the aggravation of the situation on the Korean peninsula and threats from the DPRK.

The survey data says:

"More than half of those polled (57%) are considered to be the culprit for the escalation of the conflict (among those familiar with the situation - 64%), and only 12% point to the DPRK".

Valery Fedorov, head of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center, noted that the US efforts to "demonize the DPRK", supposedly threatening the whole world, did not lead to significant results.
