In southern Iraq, there was a double act of terrorism

"TV Center" reports that near the city of Nasiriyah, the province of Di-Kara, a group of militants attacked a police post. The channel specifies that as a result of a double terrorist attack in southern Iraq, 74 people were killed, 93 wounded.

As it became known, at first terrorists opened fire from submachine guns, then they blew up a mined car. Near the checkpoint was a roadside cafe. It is noted that at the time of the attack one of the militants burst into the building and activated the explosive device. Unarmed visitors terrorists shot, and then disappeared.

According to local authorities, the majority of the victims were pilgrims from Iran. The responsibility for both acts of terrorism was assumed by the group "Islamic State" banned in Russia,.
