The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs that all delegations participating in the international negotiations on Syria have arrived in Astana, Izvestia informs,.

The newspaper reminds that the sixth round of negotiations on Syria in Astana will be held on September 14-15. It is specified that the meeting will be attended by delegations of guarantor countries - Russia, Iran and Turkey, as well as the delegation of Damascus, the opposition of Syria and the special envoy of the UN Secretary General for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

The message of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry says:

"The sixth round of the" Astana process "in Syria begins on September 14. On the eve (September 13) all the parties participating in them arrived in the capital of Kazakhstan ".

It is noted that the United States and Jordan will act as observers at the talks.

Let us recall that the result of the previous round of the Astana process was the introduction of the ceasefire in the region. In the Syrian province of Homs, which became the third zone of de-escalation, the truce entered into force on 4 August.
