"Newspaper. Ru "informs that the head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Oreshkin, told journalists at the BRICS summit in China's Xiamen that according to the results of 2017, inflation in Russia may be below 3.5%.

Oreshkin said: "We have inflation, which will be published the other day, may be about 3.4%".

From Oreshkin's words it follows that in recent days the inflation rate has been decreasing, the ruble has also strengthened.

The Minister explained that when compiling an updated macro forecast, which spoke of inflation at the end of the year at 3.5-3.7%, no new data were taken into account. According to Oreshkin, in this regard, the figures may be even lower.
