RIA Novosti reports, citing local media, that in Kazakhstan the number of people injured in an accident involving two buses and two cars has grown to 75. Earlier, the authorities of the West Kazakhstan region reported 20 hospitalized from the scene.

Head of the regional health department Nurdanat Berkingali explained that the increase in the number of victims is due to the fact that many sought medical help a few days after the accident.

Berkingali also added that one of the hospitalized patients underwent an operation on the forearm. According to him, one more person is currently staying in the hospital because of a dislocation of the vertebra.

As previously reported Izvestiya, an accident on the highway in the city of Uralsk occurred on the morning of August 24. As it turned out, one of the passenger buses crashed into another, following in the same direction.
