Turkish President's guards charged in US

The Associated Press writes that in the US, 15 guards of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan were charged for assaulting participants in a rally in Washington during his visit.

"Newspaper. Ru "specifies that in total, charges were brought against 19 people.

The AP noted:

"19 people, including 15 Turkish security officers, are accused of attacking protesters during Erdogan's visit to Washington in May".

As previously reported, on May 16 this year, the protection of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to Washington staged a fight with protesters. It was noted that at least nine people were injured.

However, only a month later, the Washington police announced the issuance of warrants for the arrest of Erdogan's guards who participated in clashes with protesters in Washington.
