"Ryonghap" reports, with reference to the Korean Central News Agency, that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said that the latest missile tests are "a prelude to Guam".

The North Korean leader noted that these exercises represent "the first step toward the military operation of the Korean People's Army in the Pacific and a significant prelude to restraining Guam".

As it became known, yesterday, August 29, North Korea held another launch of a ballistic missile that passed over the territory of Japan.

Research associate of the eastern faculty of the St. Petersburg State University, political scientist Irina Lantsova in a conversation with the NSO commented on the possibility of a missile strike by the North Korea against the United States.
