Portal runews24. Ru informs that the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has extended the deadline for the execution of the warning for operators of the Big Four (MTS, VimpelCom, Megafon and Tele2) by December 15 of this year on the issue of eliminating the difference in tariffs in intranet roaming.

The Office in its message indicates that all communication operators to whom the FAS issued a warning, expressed their readiness to execute it, and sent applications for extension of the term. Evaluating them, the antimonopoly authority set a new deadline for execution of the warning - December 15.

It is noted that communication operators must submit a report on the progress of the warning implementation to the antimonopoly authority on a monthly basis.

As previously reported, FAS issued a warning in July on roaming within the network.

The FAS expressed the opinion that prices for communication services on trips should not differ from their cost in the home region. The Office demanded to eliminate the unjustified difference in each tariff plan for the same communication services that subscribers receive on travel and at home.

As expected, the implementation of the warning will provide an opportunity to form a unified telecommunications space and ensure the rights of subscribers in the territory of Russia.
