Ukraine returned the IMF's first loan debt

The leadership of Ukraine began to pay off debts to the International Monetary Fund, "Izvestia". As reported by the National Bank, on August 4 were transferred $ 450 million on the so-called stand by 2014 program.

The words of the representative of the National Bank of Ukraine are quoted by the Federal News Agency: "Today they have listed".

It is already known that in the future Ukraine will have a loan of $ 17.5 billion, which will be received within the framework of the new four-year program of the IMF. This program will replace the stand by from 2014.

In the period from August to December 2017, Ukraine should return the IMF about a billion dollars.
