In the Khabarovsk Territory found a gold nugget weighing 10.3 kg

The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the region reported on August 1 that a large gold nugget with a weight of 10.3 kg was found in the Zarya artel team on the Zamanchivy brook in the Mykolaiv district of the Khabarovsk Territory.

The message says: "A unique metal is found by the bulldozer while leveling the gale-effel dumps".



As noted, the found nugget is the largest in weight of all the previously discovered in the territory of the region.

The department was also reminded that in 2011 a gold nugget weighing 7.5 kg was found in the artel of the prospectors "Vostok".

Regnum previously reported that in the Khabarovsk Territory on July 13, commissioned a new gold deposit Svetloe, which will bring the state up to 2500 kg of pure gold annually.

Khabarovsk Krai has traditionally been one of the leaders of gold mining in Russia - along with Magadan, Amur regions and Yakutia.
