Putin signed a law on new budget rules

RT in Russian informs that on the official portal of legal information a document has been published, from which it follows that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law amending the Budget Code of Russia, establishing new principles of budget rules.

The law presupposes limiting the expenditures of the federal budget, as well as the association of the Reserve Fund and the National Welfare Fund.



The document says that the maximum budget expenditure in the next fiscal year and the planned period can not be higher than the amount of oil and gas revenues calculated on the basis of the base price for oil, the base export price for natural gas and the projected exchange rate, the projected volume of non-oil revenues and the projected volume Public debt servicing costs.

It is noted that the introduction of the new edition of the budget rules was registered from January 1, 2018, that is, it will be applied when forming the main parameters of the federal budget for 2019 and in subsequent years.
