Earlier, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine demanded to exact a fine from Gazprom on charges of abuse of monopolistic position "RT in Russian" reports that the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal canceled permission to write off dividends of the company "Gaztransit" for 2016 for the amount of 80 million hryvnia ($ 3.1 Million) due to the repayment of a fine by Gazprom.

"Economic truth" informs, referring to the court decision, that the panel of judges came to the conclusion that the satisfaction of the application for collecting dividends violates the rights of Gaztransit's shareholders, since the funds at the time of collection belong to him, and not to Gazprom.

The Kyiv Economic Court earlier authorized the state executive service to write off the dividends of Gaztransit on the repayment of Gazprom's fine for the antimonopoly case.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine demanded to recover from Gazprom a fine on the charge of abusing the monopoly position in the Ukrainian gas transit market, as well as a fine for the same amount - for delay in the payment of a fine.
