Syria regained control over more than 40 oil rigs in Raccoon

RIA Novosti reports that the Damascus forces regained control over more than 40 oil rigs as a result of the attack on Raccoon.

Petroleum engineer Ali Ibrahim, responsible for the recovery of oil production in the province, said: "Since the beginning of July, more than 40 stationary oil pumping stations were again under the control of the government of Syria".

At the same time, he also stressed that the terrorists of the "Islamic state" destroyed part of the towers during the retreat.

The oilman said: "After demining the approaches, the pump towers will be dismantled and sent to the city of Khama for restoration - by the end of July most of the oil" points "will resume work".
