In Hamburg, protests in front of the G20 led to dozens of wounded policemen

Portal runews24. Ru reports that during the protest actions in Hamburg on the eve of the G20 summit, at least 74 policemen were injured. German media reported that thousands of left-wing anti-globalists left the streets of the city.

Clashes of protesters with policemen on the night of July 7 occurred in different parts of the city. People in masks smashed cars and buildings.

As reported, yesterday, on July 6 at 22. 00 in the center of Hamburg began a multistage procession called "Welcome to Hell". When the police tried to separate anti-globalists and aggressive left-wing radicals, they flew bottles and smoke bombs. The police responded by using water cannons and tear gas.



As a result, at least 76 police officers were injured, three of them were taken to the hospital. One law enforcement officer has an eye damaged by a blast of firecrackers.

The number of victims and detainees among protesters is not reported.

Recall, on July 7-8 in Hamburg, the G20 summit takes place, in which leaders and representatives of the world's leading countries participate. Antiglobalists oppose the holding of such events and for several days hold protests in the German city.
