Speaker of the Chamber Vyacheslav Volodin said that the State Duma is negotiating with parliaments of several countries in order to prepare a joint statement in connection with the decision of the Seimas of Poland to demolish monuments to Soviet soldiers on the territory of the country, Izvestia writes.

Speaker said that negotiations with the parliaments will be completed next week. Volodin at a meeting of the House on Wednesday, July 5 said that he believes it is right to unite in the relevant resolution of the parliaments of different countries, as well as their association in support of this document.

He said: "The international affairs committee and our colleagues in the factions are engaged in this issue, we are preparing such a resolution".

In addition, the need to respond to the decision of the Sejm of Poland, said and the Communist MP Nikolai Kharitonov, called for radical measures.

He proposed that by the end of the day on July 5, the appeal be applied to the Polish law, and in the evening - to sever diplomatic relations with Poland, withdraw the Russian ambassador from Warsaw and "expel" the Polish ambassador from Moscow, and then close the trade with Poland.

Recall, the Seimas of Poland passed a law banning propaganda of communism or another totalitarian system. According to this law, a massive demolition of monuments to Soviet Red Army soldiers that liberated the country from fascism will begin in Poland. Amendments to the law, adopted later, legitimize the demolition of 230 monuments in Poland.
