PRIME reports that from the Central Dispatch Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex (CDU TEC) it follows that the average daily oil production in Russia in June 2017 increased by 0.9% in annual terms, thus reaching 10.946 million barrels per day.
Recall that according to the Vienna agreements, Russia should in the first half of 2017 gradually reduce oil production by 300,000 barrels per day - up to 10.947 million barrels (from October's level of 11.247 million barrels).
Agency Bloomberg also reports that the average daily export of oil from Russia in the reporting month amounted to 5.399 million barrels per day, which is 7% less than the May figure.
According to the Central Dispatch Office of the Fuel and Energy Complex, the average daily production of natural gas in Russia in June increased by 20.6% in annual terms.
Total gas production in Russia in the reporting month amounted to 51.282 billion cubic meters.
As you know, OPEC and a number of non-member countries agreed at the end of 2016 in Vienna to reduce their oil production by a total of 1.8 million barrels per day from the October level, of which 300 thousand account for Russia. The agreement was concluded for the first half of 2017 with the possibility of extending. In May, its validity was extended by nine months - until the end of March 2018.
