Vladimir Putin congratulated Russian Muslims on the holiday of Uraza-Bairam

The official website of the Kremlin published the text of the congratulations of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The President congratulated all Russian Muslims on the holiday of Uraza Bayram.

The head of state noted that Uraza-Bairam carries a deep moral meaning, embodies the joy of renewal, the desire for self-improvement, the willingness to do good, to help those in need.



The President also stressed that Russian Muslims carefully treat the rich spiritual and historical heritage of their ancestors, honor the covenants and customs of their fathers and grandfathers, and add to them the younger generation. He added that the participation of Muslim organizations in the social and cultural life of the country, in the implementation of popular initiatives deserves respect. Also, Vladimir Putin noted their role in maintaining civil peace and harmony, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between people.
