In houses under construction, meters of consumption of resources are installed at the construction stage. Part of the data the management company collects itself, and some tenants indicate in receipts with utility payments themselves. Owners of the apartment, where individual meters are installed, should check and replace the IPU. So, hot water meters should be checked every four years, cold counters - every six years.

As for the owners of apartments in the multi-apartment buildings of the old housing stock, the installation of meters of water, gas, heat is carried out at its own discretion. As an incentive measure introduced increased tariffs for the payment of resources for premises where there is the possibility of installing water meters, but the API is not installed. Penalties or other measures against those who do not intend to install meters are not yet provided.



Owners of housing are responsible for the condition and serviceability of metering devices installed in their apartments. Every six months, the management company checks the indications and serviceability of the FTI, HVS, the timing of verification, the presence of seals.

Even if the meter is installed, but the device was not checked, access to the supervisors was not granted, intervention in the work of the ISP occurred, it was necessary to pay for the standards, not for the actual consumption.
