In the Catherine Hall of the Kremlin, Putin said: "Your labor records, military achievements and creative triumphs directly affect the successful development of our country, and will serve our society for many, many years, decades".

"TV Center" reports that Mikhail-Belyaev, the test pilot MiG, the ballet master of the Bolshoi Theater Yuri Grigorovich, the Moscow Conservatory professor Gennady Rozhdestvensky, the deputy chairman of the State Duma Valentina Tereshkova, the director Vladimir Menshov, the figure skater Tatyana Tarasova.

Olga Pogodina received the title of People's Artist of Russia, and the performer Denis Maidanov - deserved.

Among the awarded was one French citizen - Christian Bauer, a saber fencing coach.
