In an interview with Gazeta Polska, the leader of the party "Law and Justice" Jaroslaw Kaczynski said that moving to Poland a large number of refugees could lead to a social catastrophe in the country.

The politician said: "We would have to completely change our culture, radically lower the level of security in the country. It's not just about terrorism, there are many more.

It means a kind of social catastrophe ".

He cited as an example the situation in Finland, which initially took about 100 migrants, and now there are 18,000 refugees.

Kaczynski stressed: "This is a mechanism that can not be stopped later".

He also said that Poland is ready to defend its position in the European Court of Justice.

The European Commission earlier threatened Poland and Hungary with sanctions in case of refusal to accept refugees.
