The Sunday Times writes that the British Minister for Brexit Affairs stated that London can leave negotiations with the EU on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union. He specified that this will happen in the event that Brussels will keep the demand for the payment of 100 billion euros.
Davis also noted that the EU refuses to discuss the trade agreement until London agrees to "pay the bill". The minister added that the member countries of the European bloc should moderate their demands if they want to make progress in the negotiations.
The Minister said: "In the circumstances, if it is necessary, we are in a position to do this (leave the negotiations)".
As previously reported, Brussels may require London to pay more than 100 billion euros.
