"FederalPress" reports that the responsibility for disseminating false information about the death of writer, Nobel Prize winner in literature Svetlana Aleksievich was taken by independent journalist from Italy Tommasso Debenedetti.
RIA Novosti writes, citing a journalist's statement, that he independently created a fake account of the minister of culture and spread false news about the death of the Belarusian writer.
Debededett said that no one noticed that the account was fake and was created only the day before the false information appeared. It is noted that the official portal of the French government entered a fake account in the list of official pages of cabinet members.
He noted: "Having seen the complete lack of verification from the French media, this morning I decided to spread the fake news and see what happens".
The Italian journalist also told that Alexievich was already becoming the main heroine of his successful fake news.
Debededett stressed that such situations confirm how much the media are victims of false news through the fault of haste.
The journalist stated: "The war against fake news, at least in France, is lost".
Recall, "FederalPress" reported earlier that on the eve of the media reported that Svetlana died. The news appeared in the Russian and French press. Correspondents referred to the twitter of the new Minister of Culture of France Francoise Nissen. However, this information turned out to be false. She refuted the writer herself.
