Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes that the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal investigation into the gas explosion in the residential building of the village of Veselovka in the Chernyakhovskiy urban district of the Kaliningrad Region. It is noted that as a result of the tragedy several people were injured, among them three children: 14, 5 and 4 years old.

As previously reported, the tragedy occurred on Sunday, May 7. In the two-story house for 12 apartments there was an explosion. It is specified that partially destroyed two apartments. Fortunately, no one died. All victims are in the hospital.

One child has severe burns.

In the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that all residents of the house were placed in the maneuvering fund of the city of Chernyakhovsk, they are provided with psychological assistance.
