Sociologists VTsIOM, having polled by phone the respondents across the country, came to the conclusion that over 81% of citizens approve the work of Vladimir Putin, informs Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
It is known that the VTsIOM-Sputnik surveys are conducted daily: they are answered by 600 respondents in at least 80 regions. The final study shows the average for the week, the sample size is 4,200.
The exact figure of the presidential approval rating is 81.6%.
It is noted that Vladimir Putin is still in the lead in another rating - confidence in politicians (during the month the indicator fluctuated from 49.7 to 48.4%). It is his majority of respondents who are called, answering, who would be entrusted with the decision of important state issues.
The website of the All-Russia Public Opinion Research Center (VTsIOM) says that the top three of the confidence rating also included Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. The leader of the "anti-rating" of confidence - the head of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
Sociologists also measured the degree of support for parliamentary parties. The electoral rating of "United Russia" on average for the last week of April was 48.1%. In the LDPR, it fell to 12%, in the Communist Party - to 10.2%. But the "Fair Russia" rating rose to 5.4%.
