RIA Novosti reports that Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi stated that the opposition of Syria confirmed participation in the negotiations in Astana.
He said: "Yes, it is expected (participation of the opposition), confirmed. We expect them ».
Deputy Foreign Minister said that the arrival of the opposition is expected in the near future.
Kazinform Agency reports that the delegation of armed opposition will be headed by Mohammed Allush.
The head of the press service of Kazakhstan's foreign ministry, Anuar Zhainakov, said: "All participants of the international meeting on Syria in Astana, including representatives of the armed Syrian opposition led by Mohammed Allush, confirmed their participation".
As it became known earlier, a source in the delegation of the armed opposition of Syria announced plans to take part in the negotiations in Astana on May 3 and 4.
