The New York Times reports that American billionaire David Rockefeller died at the age of 101.

A representative of the legendary name died in New York.

David Rockefeller managed the bank Chase Manhattan. Although the Rockefeller family never owned more than 5% of the shares of the credit institution, it was known for a long time as "Rockefeller Bank".

The newspaper wrote in an obituary to Rockefeller: "The status of David Rockefeller was higher than any corporate title could convey. His influence was felt in Washington and the capitals of foreign countries, in the corridors of the City Hall of New York, museums, universities and public schools ".
