Al Mayadeen reported that the air defense systems of Syria shot down an Israeli drone over El Quneitra.

As it became known, Israel's reconnaissance drones were hit by Syrian air defense after it violated the airspace in south-west Syria.

According to the television channel, the device belongs to the model "Skylark". Its weight is about 7 kg, and the load-carrying capacity is 1.2 kg.

Recall, in 1967, after the Six-Day War, El-Quneitra withdrew to Israel. The city was returned to Syria under the Treaty on the Separation of Forces between Israel and Syria of May 31, 1974.
