According to him, in order to prevent a second war with the Russian Federation, a strong Ukrainian army is needed, which will be more than the possibilities of their economy.

" All security guarantees should proceed from this, ”the Chancellor said.

Sholts also noted that Ukraine requires security guarantees from the United States.

" I insist that it remains the basis. There is no separate security of the United States and a separate EU, ”he added.

The Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany also criticized the statements of US Vice-President Jay Dee Vincent, who accused European leaders of suppressing freedom of speech and refusing to cooperate with farmings.
