The head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Kavo Dragon, made his first visit to Kyiv after appointing to the position. As part of the visit, he held negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrei Sibigu and the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.

During the meetings, the Admiral Dragon assured that the support of Ukraine from the alliance remains adamant, and Ukraine is already an important part of European security architecture.

He also positively appreciated the implementation of important reforms in the security and defense sector even during a full -scale war.

In particular, the parties held negotiations on further military assistance for Ukraine, strengthening the defense capacity and stability of Ukraine, ways to achieve a comprehensive, fair and sustainable world.

Sibiga also informed about the current situation on the battlefield and the priority needs of the Ukrainian military, in particular, strengthening the abilities of air defense, combat aircraft, long -range missiles, artillery ammunition, investment in Ukrainian weapons, in particular drones and advanced technologies.
