The Verkhovna Rada adopted law No. 10449 on strengthening mobilization. The document was supported in the second reading by 283 deputies, said parliamentarian from the Golos faction Yaroslav Zheleznyak.

" All 31 edits taken into account received votes in confirmation,” noted Zheleznyak.

The factions voted as follows:.

Servant of the People – 192;

EU – 0;

Batkivshchyna – 2 for;

Platform for Life and Peace – 18;

Voice – 16;

Vidnovlennya – 16;

For Mayday – 12 per;

Dovira – 15 per;

extra-fractional – 12.

Note that the amendment canceling demobilization after 36 months of service was adopted by deputies with 227 votes.

Let us note that the bill was adopted in the first reading on February 7. But then the deputies adopted the document without proposals from the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada.

People's representatives had two weeks to submit amendments, so it was predicted that the bill as a whole would be adopted at the end of February.

However, more than 4.3 thousand edits were made to the document. As a result, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and Defense agreed on the text of the bill for the second reading only on April 9. 13 committee members cast their votes in favor, and five more abstained from voting..
