In the Lviv Regional Council, a draft decision was registered to reduce the structure and size of the apparatus of the Regional Council. It is proposed to reduce the number of employees of the apparatus from 78 to 58 people, as well as to reduce two positions in the leadership - the chairman of the budget commission and the deputy manager of affairs.

It is noted that a decrease in the number of employees of the apparatus by 25.6%, by 20 staff units, will significantly save the wage fund.

Among the positions of the leadership of the regional council, it is proposed to reduce two positions - the chairman of the standing commission on budget and socio-economic development and the deputy manager of the affairs of the regional council. The post of chairman of the budget commission is proposed to be withdrawn from the state.

The draft decision also provides for the liquidation of two departments (the department for economic policy and the department for administrative support of the council’s activities, the total number of people is 51) and the formation of seven separate departments of the executive apparatus of the regional council (the total number is 38 people).
