The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine put on the wanted list the Deputy Chairman of the Sumy Regional Council Vadym Lysy, suspected of entering false information into the electronic declaration for 2020. This was reported by the press service of NABU.

According to the investigation, the deputy did not declare a loan in the amount of 1.6 million hryvnias taken in 2017 (60 thousand dollars at that time). The person involved in the case, who did not yet hold the position of deputy chairman of the regional council, received money on the security of non-residential premises of more than 520 square meters in the city of Sumy. Lysy did not include this information in the 2020 declaration.

On January 19, 2023, NABU and SAPO announced that the deputy was suspected of committing a crime under part 1 of article 366-2 of the Criminal Code.

The corresponding production was opened on February 8, 2022.

The whereabouts of Vadym Lysiy could not be established, so he was informed of the suspicion in the manner prescribed by Articles 135 and 278 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
