The Verkhovna Rada approved bills No. 8360 and 8361-d regarding exemption from VAT and import duties on certain goods needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect our country, MP from Golos Yaroslav Zheleznyak said. 331 and 326 deputies voted for the documents respectively.

Law No. 3680 provides that for the period of martial law in Ukraine, but no more than until January 1, 2024, import operations are exempt from VAT:.

Law No. 8361-d establishes that for the period of martial law in Ukraine, but no more than until January 1, 2024, the following are exempt from import duty taxation:.

night-vision devices;

The law applies to goods if they are imported by enterprises or a citizen. The same applies to the transfer of these goods by such persons or organizations using international and postal express services..

The document also provides that the passage through the customs border, customs control and customs clearance of the above goods will be carried out as a matter of priority without the use of measures of non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity, including state export control measures..

At the same time, these benefits will not apply to goods originating from a country recognized as an occupying state by law and / or an aggressor state in relation to Ukraine in accordance with the law..

The same applies to goods imported from the territory of the occupying state (aggressor) and / or from the occupied territory of Ukraine, defined as such by law..
