The Security Service of Ukraine announced that it had conducted a series of searches at representatives of construction companies in Kyiv, controlled by one of the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the banned Opposition Platform for Life Party, involved in money laundering schemes in the interests of former deputies Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak. We are talking about the morning searches of the deputy Vadim Stolar.

Searches were carried out at the places of residence of officials and at the offices of construction companies..

The SBU says that similar schemes also worked in favor of other citizens of Russia and Belarus, against whom the NSDC sanctions were applied..

“Now the actions of the SBU are aimed at eliminating all illegal schemes and channels for the legalization of financial assets used by malefactors. In particular, we are talking about the redemption of the corporate rights of Ukrainian developers by various offshore companies and Russian banks, and the use of funds from the sale of real estate to finance actions that damage state security,” the security service said..

Searches at Stolar were carried out under the articles of Art.. 437 (Planning, preparing, initiating and waging a war of aggression) and Art.. 110-2 (Financing of actions committed with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, changing the boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine).

Last year, the media reported that the deputy and developer Vadim Stolar could sell 60% of the construction business in the capital to his fellow party members Viktor Medvedchuk and Taras Kozak.

At the same time, in a recent investigation by bigus. info it was said that Stolar's construction business is connected with a friend and film colleague of the head of the Office of the President Andrey Yermak Artem Kolyubaev. The latter owns approximately 10% of the construction companies ENSO and bUd development, while the remaining 90% are owned by Stolar and Medvedchuk.
