President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced into the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the imposition of sanctions against 198 Russian cultural and media figures. The decree, dated January 15, was published on the website of the President's Office.

Sanctions are introduced for 10 years and provide for:.

asset freeze;

restriction of trading operations (complete cessation);

restriction, partial or complete cessation of the transit of resources, flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine (complete cessation);

preventing the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine;

suspension of economic and financial obligations;

cancellation or suspension of licenses and other permits, the receipt (availability) of which is a condition for the implementation of a certain type of activity, in particular, the cancellation or suspension of special permits for the use of subsoil;

prohibition of participation in privatization, lease of state property by residents of a foreign state and persons directly or indirectly controlled by residents of a foreign state or acting in their interests;

prohibition or restriction of entry of foreign non-military vessels and warships into the territorial sea of \u200b\u200bUkraine, its internal waters, ports and aircraft into the airspace of Ukraine or landing on our territory (complete ban);

complete or partial ban on transactions in securities issued by persons subject to sanctions in accordance with this Law (complete ban);

prohibition of technology transfer, rights to objects of intellectual property rights;

termination of cultural exchanges, scientific cooperation, educational and sports contacts, entertainment programs with foreign states and foreign legal entities;

refusal to grant and cancel visas to residents of foreign states, the application of other prohibitions on entry into the territory of Ukraine;

deprivation of state awards of Ukraine, other forms of celebration;

prohibition on the acquisition of land.
