The Prosecutor General of Ukraine appointed Anatoly Kovalchuk, the new head of the Transcarpathian Regional Prosecutor's Office, who has been working in the prosecutor's office for over 20 years. It is reported by the Office of the Attorney General on Wednesday, January 4. It is noted that Deputy Prosecutor General Ihor Mustets introduced Anatoly Kovalchuk to the team, and also voiced problem areas and outlined the priorities of the new head of the Transcarpathian Prosecutor's Office.

Previously, Kovalchuk held positions, including senior positions, in the prosecutor's offices of Poltava, Rivne, Vinnitsa and Chernivtsi regions.
