Recall, on December 7, three judges of the Constitutional Court, elected according to the quota of the parliament, resigned.
This, in fact, creates conditions for President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose party has the majority of votes in parliament, to gain full control over the Constitutional Court of Ukraine..
It should be noted that on May 15, the nine-year term of office of the judge of the Constitutional Court Alexander Tupitsky expired.. Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court Sergei Golovaty ordered the termination of labor relations with him.
Last year, President Volodymyr Zelensky removed Tupitsky from office and rescinded former President Viktor Yanukovych's decree appointing Tupitsky as a judge.
