Recall that before starting negotiations on EU membership, Ukraine must complete the following steps:.
adopt and implement legislation on the procedure for selecting judges of the Constitutional Court, including a pre-selection process based on an assessment of their virtue and professional skills, in accordance with the recommendations of the Venice Commission;
complete the verification of the virtues of candidates for members of the High Council of Justice and the selection of candidates for the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine;
strengthen the fight against corruption, including at the high level. Complete the selection and appointment of a new director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and a prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office;
ensure anti-money laundering legislation is in line with Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards;
