Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal announced assistance from the government of Canada in the amount of 450 million Canadian dollars ($351 million).

According to the prime minister, the funds are intended for the purchase of gas.

" Ukraine will receive 450 million Canadian dollars in assistance for the purchase of gas for the heating season, Shmyhal said on Telegram.

Schmihal thanked Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau and Deputy Prime Minister of Finance of this country Chrystia Freeland for their unwavering support of Ukraine in the fight for democracy and freedom.
