Former head of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Grigory Galagan transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.
On the evening of July 25, a decree appeared on the website of the president, by which Galagan was dismissed from his post, and Viktor Khorenko was appointed in his place.
“Approved important personnel decisions today. Combat General Viktor Khorenko has been appointed as the new Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And General Grigory Galagan is transferred to another direction and, in order to update the Security Service of Ukraine, he was appointed first deputy head of the Special Operations Center “A” of the SBU,” he said..
